DALLAS--()--At a time of unprecedented economic, political and technological change, the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership in cooperation with the Association of Leadership Professionals is convening its 21st Annual International Conference, June 8-10, 2011 at the Westin Galleria Dallas, 13340 Dallas Parkway, Dallas, TX. The conference has taken place in Dallas only once before, in 2007.
The 2011 Greenleaf International Conference will provide a unique opportunity for current and emerging leaders in business, higher education, health care, government, non-profit organizations, and faith communities to focus on the ethical, practical, and meaningful benefits of servant leadership.
Conference Highlights:
- June 8th: Pre-conference day with on-site visits to such industry leaders as Southwest Airlines, Celebration Restaurants, The Container Store, Habitat for Humanity Homes, Parkland Hospital, TD Industries, Texas Instruments and eight workshops.
- June 9th and 10th: Two full conference days interacting with diverse leaders at various stages of their servant leadership journeys. The conference concludes with the Celebration Dinner on Friday night.
- Featured speakers who have proven in their own careers that servant leadership is ethical, practical, and meaningful. They will challenge and inspire servant-leaders with their stories from business, government, and the non-profit sectors.
- Twenty-four workshops in which presenters and participants will dig into case studies to discover the best servant-leader practices that have been used in organizations from many sectors.
- Opportunities during breaks, meals, a community service project, and the “Affinity Group Meetings,” to interact informally with servant leaders who are at various stages in their personal and organizational journeys.
