BIRMINGHAM, Mich.--()--Brogan & Partners’ Michigan Reboot Contest drew over 60 entries from companies Statewide, hoping to get a boost to their brand as well as a marketing makeover. After reviewing the submissions and interviewing finalists, Canton-based Mechanical Energy Systems (MES) was selected to receive the grand prize of marketing and public relations services valued at $75,000. Brogan & Partners’ Managing Partner Ellyn Davidson made the announcement.

Established in 1985, Mechanical Energy Systems has provided renewable energy solutions such as solar electric, and water heating to homeowners and businesses. As pioneers in renewable energy products, the family-owned company is well-respected in the industry and is becoming one of the larger distributors and trainers of solar applications in Michigan.

- Branding evaluation, recommendations of marketing collateral and materials
- Positioning statement
- Campaign ideas
- Tactical action plan
- Development of a Facebook® fan page and Facebook® fan page recommendation

- Write and distribute press release announcements and/or news
- Write executive bios, company backgrounder;
- Pitch and coordinate media interviews.
