ASHBURN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Telos® Corporation has released a new line of unified communications products and capabilities called the Telos Secure Information eXchange, or T-6, expanding the capabilities of its secure organizational messaging product, the Automated Message Handling System (AMHS).
T-6 includes an industry-leading secure unified communications and collaboration (UCC) capability, a highly advanced directory, cutting-edge analysis tools and a secure cross domain capability. Working together, T-6 provides a single integrated suite of information exchange products that is at the leading edge, combining traditional enterprise messaging with newer technology-driven capabilities. As a standalone capability, each function included in the T-6 is the most advanced capability available.
“The organizational messaging portion of the T-6 is incorporating the emerging Information Transport System (ITS),” said Mike Masters, vice president of Secure Communications Solutions for Telos. “The ITS compatibility of AMHS, whether in the DMS architecture, the Official Information Exchange (OIX) model, or in the ITS structure of backbones and brokers, provides a cost-efficient Web-based solution that greatly simplifies configuration management, system administration, and customer interface to future DoD record messaging systems, whatever they turn out to be.”
“The net-centric vision behind the traditional and emerging organizational messaging systems has been applied to handle new communications modes ranging from SMTP e-mail to newswire services, and to incorporate a number of customer-specific formats and protocols,” Masters said.
The T-6 suite will give customers much greater functionality and capability. The secure directory component represents the latest in identity management capabilities. The suite will also offer significantly faster searches and a number of analytic tools to discover important information from unstructured data, capitalizing on the searchable archive messages and non-message documents.
The T-6 suite also includes a new capability to exchange information securely across network boundaries with other U.S. enclaves that may be operating at a different classification level or with coalition partners participating in a multi-national mission. The core capability is a fully accredited cross domain filter with deep content inspection, the ability to dynamically enforce and validate cross domain policy and to rapidly accommodate policy changes with a PL3 certified release capability.
