NEW YORK--()--Klausner Technologies, Inc. has licensed its U.S. and international Visual Voicemail patents to Yahoo! Inc. The parties have settled their outstanding litigation and the case has been dismissed.

Yahoo! is the 33rd company to date licensed under Klausner Technologies’ Visual Voicemail patents. Current licensees of the Visual Voicemail patents include major U.S. and European mobile operators, handset manufacturers, VOIP/cable operators, and other providers of Visual Voicemail services.

Yahoo! had been a defendant in the pending patent infringement lawsuit brought by Klausner Technologies in the Eastern District of Texas. Klausner Technologies is represented in the litigation by the law firm of Dovel & Luner.
Klausner Technologies is currently asserting its Visual Voicemail patents against Research in Motion (RIMM:NSDQ) in a lawsuit captioned Klausner Technologies, Inc. v. Research in Motion Corporation, et al, Case No. 6-09 CV-00527 and against Cisco (CSCO:NSDQ) in a lawsuit captioned Klausner Technologies, Inc. v. Qwest Communications, Inc., et. al, Case No. 6-09 CV-232.
