3M Announces Library Commitment Program

- Allows transition to 3M solutions at prices paid to previous suppliers -

ST PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As part of an ongoing effort to help libraries deal with the challenging budget situations they face, 3M is pleased to announce the Library Commitment Program. This program allows libraries using suppliers other than 3M to begin purchasing security and self-service solutions from 3M at the same prices that were agreed upon with their previous supplier.

Library budgets are under duress and many suppliers to the library community are being faced with difficult decisions as a result of less budget monies being available. According to Matt Tempelis, 3M Library Systems business manager, “The landscape for suppliers in this market is constantly changing and libraries have seen consolidation impact their quality of service before.
