BOSTON & LOS ANGELES & MIAMI--()--mms (mobile.messaging.solutions, inc.), a leading provider of mobile engagement and messaging solutions announced significant momentum since its divestiture from VeriSign in 2008, including revenue growth of over thirty percent in 2010 and a significant diversification of its product portfolio into growth markets.
“mms is poised for further growth in North America”
Total revenues for 2010 set a new company record, as the company broadened its offerings beyond messaging (SMS, MMS) to encompass mobile internet, commerce, and application development across all operating systems. The company also added new clients, including Carlson Marketing and Univision Interactive Media and deepened relationships with existing clients including Coca-Cola and Bell Mobility. mms has also penetrated new vertical markets acquiring customers in automotive, travel and hospitality, gaming, education and retail.
mms has achieved this growth because it is well positioned on the crest of a growing wave. According to Nielsen, smartphones will overtake feature phones for the first time in 2011, as consumers increasingly look to smartphones to connect to the Internet, their friends and to the world beyond. Smartphones are driving a wave of adoption of mms’ marketing platforms.
“mms is poised for further growth in North America, ” said Kai Buehler, CEO of mms North America. “Our ability to offer full-service and scalable smart mobile engagement solutions to brands, agencies and media companies on a global scale sets us apart from our competitors. Since mms’ founding over 10 years ago, over 5 billion messages have been sent over the mms international carrier network in over 200 countries and regions. As smartphone adoption grows, we continue to innovate with smart mobile engagement solutions, thereby increasing revenues in this exciting and rapidly expanding space.”
