give2gether Sets New Bar for Social Fundraising with Integration of Gigya and Facebook App

viral outreach for a new generation of social (networked) philanthropists

SAN MATEO, Calif.--()--give2gether, makers of a Web-based tool for 501(c)(3) non-profits to raise money, today announced that it has integrated Gigya social sign-on technology and launched a limited beta on Facebook. Both new features allow donors and fundraisers to promote grass roots fundraising campaigns via their social networks, and then measure and track all contributions that result using give2gether’s built-in analytics dashboard.

“More and more donors and modern fundraisers use their social networks to spread the word about their causes, but these efforts are often done detached from their expensive CRM and donor management tools,” said Arnon Shafir, CEO of give2gether. “Our give2gether platform now lets non-profits and donors integrate different social networking sites – like Facebook, Twitter, Google and LinkedIn – directly into their campaign websites. We built give2gether from the ground up for this new generation of social-networked philanthropists.”

Social Sign On

The Gigya integration into the give2gether platform means that any donor or champion is now able to log into give2gether using their favorite social network interface. In addition, any give2gether user will be able to send tweets, LinkedIn group messages, and otherwise spread the word about their particular charitable cause via more than 20 different social networks – all without having to leave their page on give2gether. As a result, non-profits can enjoy the network impact of social communities and can monetize those social interactions. Fundraisers can also optimize their online campaigns by applying give2gether’s analytics and monitoring tools.

Limited Beta on Facebook

A give2gether Facebook app has been released in a limited beta which allows registered non-profits to mirror their campaigns on Facebook, so that friends or fans can donate or send campaign invitations through Facebook while still having a full accounting of the campaign contributions and updates logged and analyzed at their give2gether campaign page.

About give2gether

give2gether is designed specifically for non profits and NGOs to set up fund-raising campaigns quickly and measure campaign performance with built-in analytics tools. The company co-founders include two professors of economics at UC Berkeley and NYU, and the platform leverages ten years of research in game-theory and social learning to guide fundraisers to create more effective and efficient campaigns.

give2gether’s fund-raising technology uses proprietary behavioral algorithms that leverage social group interactions, which significantly improves visitor participation and donor conversion rates (visitors to donors). By turning more strangers into friends, friends into donors, and donors into fundraisers, give2gether allows non profits to monetize social interactions and foster a new generation of social-networked philanthropists. Fund-raisers also have access to advanced, ROI-focused analytics that show them how their campaigns are performing.

The company is based in Israel with U.S. offices in San Mateo. For more information about give2gether or to start a free trial campaign, please visit at www.give2gether.com
