The Sum of All Fears? It’s No Clancy Novel, It's Public Speaking…

Lothery & Associates Launches in DC Market with Prepare2Speak Series

WASHINGTON--()--We know the symptoms and they can be just as uncomfortable as the fear that brought them on - blotchy skin, sweating, shaking and lack of motor skills and memory. You don’t have to do a Google search to know that these are all symptoms of the fear of public speaking. Can it be true? Yes, we’ve seen it a million times from all professions and every type of person imaginable. That’s why Lothery & Associates has developed a way to help alleviate the problem. Launched this week, the Prepare2Speak video series is available for anyone that has these symptoms and is about to get up in front of a group of strangers. The video series is also developed for speakers who are seeking to increase performance ability and need an extra reminder or two.

Prepare2Speak is created for those who may not be able to make it to a training session, or want reminders in between sessions; each video is designed to bring the classroom to right to the viewer at the stroke of a key or flip of button. In today’s competitive employment market, the Prepare2Speak video series will give viewers a strategic advantage. The videos are meant to be affordable and cost between $9.99 and $29.99. The average run time is 10-15 minutes long and they can be individually downloaded directly to the customer’s computer or laptop.

Lothery & Associates is the DC area’s premier provider of communications consulting and coaching services. Launched in 2010, Lothery is celebrating its third year by offering the Prepare2Speak series and continuing to build on its foundation as provider of media training and communications coaching services. Lothery offers its media training, executive presentation coaching and diversity training programs to a client base that includes government, non-profits, corporations as well as individual coaching sessions for the busy executive.

“The Prepare2Speak series is designed to provide foundational insights and developed for an audience that may not have access to a comprehensive training experience, but need the assistance and support that accessible media can provide,” said Karlyn Lothery, Founder, Lothery & Associates. “For executives that have been through our training program, the videos integrate with the program and complement what is being taught. Our next step is to develop a series that will meet the demand of the most advance speakers.”
