ZUG, Switzerland--()--With the foundation of Cytori GmbH, Cytori Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:CYTX) has opened its new sales and marketing center in Europe. The new Swiss site means that most of the company’s activities in Europe and the Middle East will now be carried out by sales and customer-service staff in Zug.
“Cytori GmbH plays a major role in expanding our business activities and key initiatives in Europe.”
Cytori’s President Marc Hedrick explains: “Cytori GmbH plays a major role in expanding our business activities and key initiatives in Europe.” A conscious decision was taken to select a central location in Switzerland for Cytori GmbH, enabling us to fully exploit growth opportunities within the region and beyond from the new site.
One of our main initiatives for 2011 involves introducing the Cytori Exchange further-training program, which encompasses a range of Operations Live seminars and workshops. Here, the focus is on regenerative medicine and plastic surgery. The aim of the first series of seminars is to familiarize specialist medical staff with the latest applications and developments in regenerative medicine and plastic surgery as practiced in hospitals and doctors’ surgeries.
Eric Daniels, Managing Director of Cytori GmbH, states: “Clinical interventions which combine the principles of regenerative medicine and plastic surgery produce excellent results for patients and doctors alike. The Cytori Exchange Program is designed to help specialist medical staff to constantly stay abreast of the rapid progress being made in the field of regenerative medicine and plastic surgery. We’re very pleased to offer this new, eagerly awaited program.”
