eBay Instant Sale Offers Top Dollar for Smartphone Trade-Ins

Consumers to receive cash guarantees of $200 for select models and up to $450 for AT&T iPhone 4s

From today through February 22, at ebay.com/iphone, eBay Instant Sale will offer cash guarantees of $200 for select functional smartphone models and up to $450 for AT&T iPhone 4s.

eBay Instant Sale users can now lock in a $200 guaranteed price on any functional iPhone 3GS, Motorola Droid X, HTC Evo 4G and Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant smartphone models. Customers can also receive a minimum of $200 and up to $450 for the AT&T iPhone 4 during the eBay Instant Sale promotion. The new iPhone on Verizon retails for $199 with contract.

The promotional campaign is expected to generate an estimated 1.2 billion impressions over the two-week period surrounding the launch of the iPhone on Verizon.

During the promotion, eBay customers who visit ebay.com/iphone and enter in basic information about their devices will receive an instant cash offer. Once the offer is accepted, users will receive a free shipping label. Payment will be deposited into the customer’s PayPal account once the item has been received and evaluated.
