Sand 9 Appoints Greg Waters to Board of Directors

Senior Skyworks Executive Joins Board to Help Guide the Company in its Transition from Development to Commercial Production

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sand 9, Inc., a technology company developing precision timing products for wireless applications, today announced the appointment of Skyworks Executive Vice President, Greg Waters, to their Board of Directors. Mr. Waters will help Sand 9 manage the transition from development to volume production of its innovative MEMS oscillator technology.

Mr. Waters is executive vice president and general manager, front-end solutions for Skyworks Solutions, Inc. He joined the company in April 2003. Prior to joining Skyworks, Mr. Waters served as senior vice president of strategy and business development at Agere Systems, and previously held positions there as vice president of the Wireless Communications business, and vice president of the Broadband Communications business.
