Author and Motivational Speaker Dr. Nathaniel J. Williams Goes Overseas to Visit America’s Troops for Black History Month

ARLINGTON, Va.--()--Author and motivational speaker, Dr. Nathaniel J. Williams, will visit troops this February and March as part of an Armed Forces Entertainment tour in celebration of Black History Month. Dr. Williams is scheduled to visit several undisclosed locations in England, Kosovo, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and Italy to conduct seminars, sign autographs, pose for photos and most importantly to extend his gratitude to America’s troops.

Williams, a former foster child, has devoted his career to helping others overcome challenges to realize their full potential. He shares that life's challenging events don't have to stop a person from being who they want to be once they realize what is holding them back, and facing these challenges helps one to attain their personal best. Williams' focus is on helping individuals, schools and companies empower the “whole person.” He is an author of nine books, TV talk show host, founder and CEO of eight companies, adjunct professor and an in- demand motivational speaker. Williams holds a Doctorate in Education and three additional graduate degrees, including an MBA. He earned two of his four graduate degrees from the nation’s two oldest historically African American universities: a Master of Human Services (MHS) from Lincoln University and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Cheyney University. He also attained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Strayer University and a doctorate in education (Ed.D.) from Fielding Graduate University. Since 1976, Black History Month has been an annual celebration of achievements by black Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of African Americans in U.S. history. Throughout American history, black soldiers have honorably answered the call to duty, serving with great valor and distinction. Today, about 22% of the American armed forces are African-American.
