David W. Engstrom Joins the Firm’s Philadelphia Office

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Thorp Reed & Armstrong, LLP (Thorp Reed) is pleased to announce that David W. Engstrom has joined the firm’s Commercial & Corporate Litigation Practice Group in its Philadelphia office. The addition of Mr. Engstrom marks the firm’s fifth new hire in less than a month.

Mr. Engstrom’s litigation experience includes antitrust, intellectual property, corporate control, corporate governance, securities fraud, consumer fraud, and general business injury claims. He has also litigated complex contract disputes involving investment management, product development and partnership obligations, and has performed internal investigations related to allegations of corporate wrongdoing.

Before joining Thorp Reed, Mr. Engstrom served as both a partner and associate at the Philadelphia firm of Harkins Cunningham LLP. Prior to his time there, he served a two-year clerkship with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
