Invesco Mortgage Capital Inc. Completes Public Offering of Common Stock

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Invesco Mortgage Capital Inc. (the “Company”) (NYSE: IVR) today announced the completion of its public offering of 8,700,000 shares of common stock and issuance of an additional 1,305,000 shares of common stock pursuant to the underwriters’ full exercise of their over-allotment option. The total offering of 10,005,000 shares produced net proceeds of approximately $214.0 million, after deducting underwriting discounts and estimated offering expenses.

The Company expects to use the net proceeds from this offering to make additional acquisitions of residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities and mortgage loans, on a leveraged basis, and other general corporate purposes.

BofA Merrill Lynch, Wells Fargo Securities, Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley acted as joint book-running managers for the offering.
