NextGen Healthcare’s NextGen Inpatient Clinicals Receives ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 Certification

HORSHAM, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Quality Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: QSII) and a leading provider of healthcare information systems and connectivity solutions, announced today that NextGen Inpatient Clinicals version 2.4 is 2011/2012 compliant and was certified as a Complete EHR on December 1, 2010 by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ATCB, in accordance with the applicable hospital certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The 2011/2012 criteria support the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

NextGen Inpatient Clinicals version 2.4 is also certified in CCHIT’s separate and independently developed certification program. NextGen Inpatient Clinicals version 2.4 is a premarket conditionally CCHIT Certified® 2011 Inpatient EHR.
