TEL AVIV, Israel--()--Silent Communication announced today that it has enhanced its popular Silent VVM™ visual voicemail mobile client with new voice-to-text -presentation capabilities, enabling mobile device users with even greater flexibility to manage their voicemail via a single easy-to-use, on-screen interface. Utilizing Silent Communication’s serverless Device and Network Agnostic (DANA) deployment technology, mobile network operators are enabled to roll out this enhanced service to any device on their network simultaneously, spanning mobile operating systems including Android, BlackBerry, Symbian and Java, Windows Mobile, Java and Brew.
“Silent Communication’s unique ability to provide high-value services such as enhanced visual voicemail with voice-to-text that support any mobile device on any voicemail network ensures numerous advantages for our customers”
The Silent VVM™ mobile client affords mobile users the ability to manage voicemail with the same ease in which they manage SMS, MMS or email. Users can browse voice messages visually, listen to messages with one click, and respond to voice messages via call back, SMS, MMS and/or email. With the new addition of voice-to-text capabilities, users can choose to view text transcriptions of their voice messages, thereby achieving the ability to manage voicemail from end-to-end in environments where audio message playback is impractical.
Silent Communication’s visual messaging clients are pre-integrated with all voicemail vendors, including Comverse, Alcatel Lucent, Ericsson, Acision, Unisys and Streamwide, and can be deployed by any mobile operator with Silent Communication’s industry-unique DANA deployment technology. With DANA, high-value, revenue-driving services like voice-to-text-enhanced visual voicemail can be brought to market faster and easier than they ever could before.
“Silent Communication’s unique ability to provide high-value services such as enhanced visual voicemail with voice-to-text that support any mobile device on any voicemail network ensures numerous advantages for our customers,” said Silent Communication CEO Max Bluvband. “With Silent Communication’s DANA deployment technology, mobile operators can ensure that every subscriber can take advantage of Silent’s advanced visual voicemail service immediately and enjoy a seamless user experience regardless of the device they use.”
About Silent Communication’s DANA Deployment Technology
DANA is Silent Communication’s serverless Device and Network Agnostic deployment technology for mobile clients.
As mobile devices and operating systems continue to proliferate, mobile network operators are challenged to get to market quickly with differentiating, revenue-driving services that can be implemented across the full subscriber base. Resource constraints force mobile operators to make hard choices about the devices they’ll support with a new service, and in the many months it takes to bring a new service to market, a new generation of devices and OSs will have emerged. This model practically ensures that service provider are late to market with services for the newest, most coveted devices in their portfolio, negatively impacting revenue and customer satisfaction.
Silent Communication’s serverless Device and Network Agnostic (DANA) deployment technology eliminates these challenges. Development cycles are reduced from months to weeks, and all devices are supported on ‘day one’ of the service launch. This capability ensures that mobile operators can drive revenue quickly with high-value services, and customers don’t have to wait to obtain the services that they demand.
