John Partilla Joins Dentsu

Former Clear Channel, Time-Warner and Y&R Executive to be COO of Dentsu Network West

NEW YORK--()--Tim Andree, CEO of Dentsu Network West and Executive Officer of Dentsu Inc., today announced the appointment of John Partilla as COO, a newly created position, effective January 3.

The fact that he spent 18 years in the agency business and seven in big media companies will be invaluable to our clients and Dentsu.”

“My years at Time-Warner and Clear Channel gave me the chance to see advertising through a very different lens,” Partilla said. “The business is crying out for new ways to create and deliver the support clients need. Dentsu is in the best position to lead this innovation. They have the corporate will, a phenomenal agency in Tokyo that has always been on the leading edge of the business, and two of today’s most successful agencies in mcgarrybowen and 360i.

Partilla’s appointment is Dentsu Network West’s third high-profile appointment in the past six weeks, joining Nicholas Rey, CFO, whose background includes CFO positions at Grey, EuroRSCG and, most recently, CPX Interactive, and Renato Loes, CEO of Dentsu Latin America, who was previously CEO of Leo Burnett Latin America.
