HOUMA, La.--()--Enbridge, Inc. has commissioned Chet Morrison Contractors to perform the installation of the Phase III (Anaconda) Slug Catcher expansion design at the Nautilus gathering facility in Centerville, LA. The project will add an additional capacity of 7,000 barrels per day to the existing 10,000 barrels per day HARP style slug catcher.

The scope of work includes surveying and auger-casting 294 piles drilled to 60’ depth, construction of 8 pipe support piers, the fabrication, painting and installation of 4,000 feet of 48” pipe fingers, tying in the 48” steel pipe fingers to the existing Slug Catcher and the hydrostatic testing of all piping.
Chet Morrison Contractors previously performed the installation of Phases I and II of the Slug Catcher expansion.
