New Solution for Smartphones Provides Real-time Information on Millions of Businesses, Events and More Nationwide

CARY, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dex One Corporation (NYSE: DEXO) today unveiled its new mobile app, Dex – a local information resource for iPhone, iPod touch, Android, BlackBerry and web-enabled mobile devices. Dex provides consumers with real-time, detailed insight into millions of businesses, events and more in neighborhoods across the country.

According to a recent study, 70 percent of mobile users use their devices once a week or more for local searches.* This high usage drove Dex One to create the new solution, which is part of the company’s three-tiered effort – incorporating mobile, interactive and print solutions – to provide consumers with fast, easy access to information regardless of where they are or what type of local search tool they prefer to use.
