USPTO Issues Patent for Zynx Health’s Structured Data Authoring and Editing System

This patent covers Zynx Health’s system for customizing, reviewing and exporting clinical content to the point of care within a healthcare institution’s electronic system. Notably, the patent comprises:

An authoring environment that allows for reviewing and exporting the clinical content structure of order sets and plans of care
A vocabulary transformation engine for automatically converting the clinical content structure of order sets and plans of care into a standard terminology structure
A custom export engine for converting the standard structure into an export structure in a particular vendor system format
