Syprosoft Engineering Develops First Prototype G1A™ Reader for Epinex Diagnostics

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Syprosoft Engineering has announced that they successfully completed development of a prototype for The G1A^™ Rapid Diabetes Monitoring Index Reader, a revolutionary diabetes monitoring test. The prototype, developed for Epinex Diagnostics, was completed in 2009 and exemplifies the type of work in which Syprosoft Engineering takes pride.

The G1A^™ Reader is a rapid immunoassay system that provides an index for the level of protein glycation in the blood by simultaneous measurement of glycated albumin versus total albumin. Albumin is a serum protein in the blood that can be measured with precision and has a turnover or replacement time of 2-3 weeks.
