GEICO launches “Caveman and Me” video greetings

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Got something to say? But you are not quite sure how to say it? Do you want to tell your co-worker that his football team stinks or offer your best friend some relationship advice? Let the GEICO Caveman say it for you.

GEICO has launched a new interactive video greeting that allows users to send messages to friends, family members, and co-workers featuring its iconic Caveman. The Caveman and Me concept uses a standard web camera and card marker which triggers the caveman to appear on screen.

Users can choose from a wide selection of messages under categories such as: Greetings, Sports, Relationships, Insults and Reminders. The Caveman relays the message, which can be sent via email and also posted on social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter.

In 2007, GEICO launched cavemanscrib.com to give followers of this popular cultural icon a glimpse into his personal life. While the Caveman’s Crib is closed for renovations, geicocaveman.com now serves as a portal to the “Caveman and Me” site and much more.
