The Oppenheim Toy Portfolio is the only independent consumer review of children's media. Award-winning products are selected by noted experts in child development and education, and further tested by the most objective panel of judges - kids. The Oppenheim Platinum Awards for Best Toy represent the most innovative and engaging products of the year, while the Gold Awards for Best Toy are given to outstanding new products that enhance the lives of children.
“PLAYMOBIL is honored that The Oppenheim Toy Portfolio has once again recognized several of our products as Best Toys,” stated Michelle Winfrey, PLAYMOBIL USA, Marketing and Compliance Manager. “PLAYMOBIL strives to create fun, relevant toys that engage children in open-ended play and most importantly meet and exceed quality and safety standards. The Wildlife Care Station and Great Dragon Castle wonderfully represent this principle, which is truly the foundation of the PLAYMOBIL brand.”
The PLAYMOBIL Wildlife Care Station includes two figures, leopard and cubs, baby rhinoceros, giraffe and zebra. The set also comes with a Wildlife Care Station with cage, animal enclosure and many other accessories. The PLAYMOBIL Great Dragon Castle includes four figures dressed in armor, red dragon, working ballista and many other accessories. The Great Dragon Castle comes with a beacon that lights and the dungeon can be opened. The set is compatible with the Playmobil Dragon’s Dungeon (#4836). Set also comes with a Red Dragon Badge for the child to wear. Both PLAYMOBIL products are intended for children ages four and up.
“The Wildlife Care Station and the Great Dragon Castle got rave reviews from both our parent and child testers. PLAYMOBIL sets are ideal parent/child projects with the added bonus of having a great pretend setting to use after the building is completed,” explains Stephanie Oppenheim, co-founder of The Oppenheim Toy Portfolio.
