RALEIGH, N.C.--()--The North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA), the primary voice of the technology industry in North Carolina, announced today the finalists for this year’s NCTA 21 Awards. Winners will be recognized at the awards gala on Wednesday, November 10 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Durham, N.C., presented with title sponsor Grant Thornton. The event’s James Bond-inspired theme is “A License to Excel.” More than 600 leaders from across the state are expected to attend.

Technology Industry Awards

Additionally, Erskine Bowles will be recognized as the Public Leadership Award Winner and Matthew Szulik, former chairman, Red Hat Board of Directors, will be recognized as the Outstanding Achievement Award Winner.
Finalists for the 2010 Tech Executive of the Year are posted online at www.nctechnology.org. The winner will be selected by popular vote and announced at the 21 Awards Gala. The online poll is available until October 15.
