New Firm Arises to Deliver Private-Label SaaS to the Channel: VAR Dynamics

Unsolicited reseller demand for SaaS sparks company to transform identity to channel-exclusive model

Formerly The Message Center, VAR Dynamics opens doors with over 100 partners on-board

SAN JOSE, Calif.--()--The Message Center, which formerly sold hosted services direct to customers, today announced its transformation to VAR Dynamics, a new company providing Software-as-a-Service solutions exclusively to VARs and other channel companies worldwide.

As the SaaS and cloud markets continue their rapid growth, VAR Dynamics (VDI) enables channel partners to quickly capture SaaS opportunities with a wide range of their own private-labeled services. Those services include hosted versions of Exchange, Dynamics CRM, MobileAccess for Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, Blackberry BES, Zimbra, NotifySync, GoodLink, Email Archiving and Secure Messaging.

“We didn’t find the channel, the channel found us,” said Tony Francisco, President and CEO of VAR Dynamics. “Through 2007 we had only three SaaS resellers, but then they started contacting us. Since then our channel has expanded to over 100 channel partners even though VAR Dynamics has thus far done zero channel outreach or marketing. That speaks to the surge in the SaaS market generally and to the quality of VDI’s offerings specifically. So we made the logical decision to re-architect the company to be channel-centric and provide an attractive private-label option for resellers.”

A major focus of VDI’s product development strategy is mobility. Last year a strategic partnership was announced jointly with TenDigits Software, a leading provider of mobility solutions for Microsoft (MSFT: NASDAQ) and its Dynamics CRM platform. “Comprehensive use of Dynamics CRM via smartphones is becoming critical for many organizations,” said Derek Warburton, Vice President of Sales at TenDigits. “We’re very pleased that VAR Dynamics is offering TenDigits MobileAccess to their Dynamics CRM community to enhance productivity and effectiveness for field staff.”

With partners in 12 countries, VAR Dynamics’ channel includes leading cloud service providers such as CallTower and Jamcracker as well as VARs with a strong focus on the expanding SMB market for SaaS like Rhino Network Solutions and Wireless IQ.
