SALT LAKE CITY--()--RemedyMD announced today that Jim Hyde has joined its team as President and Chief Operating Officer. Jim will provide executive leadership to support RemedyMD’s recent growth, allowing former President and COO Adam Slovik to focus on delivering the next generation of integrated registries as Chief Technology Officer.
“In order to continue our rapid growth I will need to devote my complete attention to the development of resalable registries and tools.”
RemedyMD recently announced contracts to build registries for the University of Texas Southwestern, Tethys, and the National Fibromyalgia Association and has plans to announce several others in the coming weeks.
Jim has a wide range of experience in the corporate technology sector, which will support this growth, including operations management, software development, and research. Prior to joining RemedyMD, Jim served as COO at In-Store Broadcasting Network and Overstock.com, and as a VP of Applications Development at Tenfold. Jim has a B.S. and a Ph.D. from Stanford in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree from MIT.
“Researchers and providers alike have recognized the need to build registries as a way to dramatically improve their effectiveness,” comments Gary Kennedy, founder and chief executive officer of RemedyMD. “At this point in our growth we need a process-oriented executive who can build a business model that scales as rapidly as our business is growing. Jim’s unique background makes him a great fit for RemedyMD.”
RemedyMD enables researchers and clinicians to collect, aggregate, harmonize, and analyze data from disparate data types and sources, enabling researchers to see a 360º view of each patient or research subject.
“I am happy that Jim has decided to join RemedyMD. I have known him for several years and he is eminently qualified,” said Adam Slovik, President and COO of RemedyMD. “In order to continue our rapid growth I will need to devote my complete attention to the development of resalable registries and tools.”
