HOUSTON--()--Management Controls, Inc., the leader in contractor cost management software, announced today that it has appointed George Moody to vice president of sales & marketing, effective immediately. In this role, Moody will be an integral part of the senior management team, and oversee the company’s sales team, as well as all marketing activities.

Previously, Moody was sales director at P2 Energy Solutions (P2ES), the leading provider of integrated software, geotechnical data and related services for the upstream oil & gas industry. At P2ES, he managed a newly created sales team for the small-to-medium-sized business market. In addition, Moody has more than 15 years’ experience in the software and business process outsourcing marketplace. Prior to P2ES, he held director-and management-level sales and business development positions with companies, such as Employease, Healthnet and other companies. Moody received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance/Entrepreneurship from Rice University Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
