Campbell Soup Company Joins NWA LPGA Event in Support of Northwest Arkansas Food Bank

CAMDEN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Campbell Soup Company (NYSE:CPB) today donated 150 cases of Campbell’s Chunky soup to the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank in ceremonies held during the P&G NW Arkansas Championship presented by Walmart. Tournament officials also announced a $5,000 cash contribution to the Food Bank as part of its overall charitable program. The LPGA tournament is being held this week at the Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Ark.

Campbell has a long tradition of supporting hunger relief across the country and in local communities where it operates. The company provides on-going product donation support to Feeding America, which operates over 200 food banks across the U.S. In addition, Campbell’s brands support the National Association of Letter Carrier’s “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive in May and the company’s support also makes it possible for the Students In a Free Enterprise (SIFE) organization to conduct its annual “Let’s Can Hunger” competition.
