Berkeley Research Group Continues to Expand National Presence – New Office Opens in Los Angeles

EMERYVILLE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Berkeley Research Group, LLC (BRG), a preeminent expert services and data analytics firm, today announced the opening of a new office in Los Angeles, California. The Los Angeles office will be based in Century City, bringing the firm’s total headcount to over 80 employees working across seven offices in the United States and Europe.

The Los Angeles office will be led by Paul Wazzan, Ph.D. a prominent economist with over 15 years of experience in economics and finance. Dr. Wazzan will also co-lead the development of the firm’s Affiliate network, a group of highly-credentialed academics and well regarded industry leaders. “Our Affiliate network will provide our clients a unique level of expertise to address the complex issues they face drawing on a wide range of disciplines,” said Dr. Wazzan.

Also joining the office as a Director and leading BRG’s national labor and employment practice is David Lewin Ph.D., the Neil H. Jacoby Professor of Management, Human Resources, and Organizational Behavior at the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management. Dr. Lewin has provided expert testimony in numerous labor and employment matters involving age, gender, race, and religious discrimination, wrongful termination, employee and executive compensation issues, performance management issues, and wage and hour issues.

Also joining as a Director is Stefan Boedeker, who specializes in the application of economic, statistical, and financial models. With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Boedeker has provided services to clients across multiple industries, including healthcare, high technology, entertainment, manufacturing, retail, real estate, insurance and financial services.

Continuing the efforts to deliver top level expertise to clients, Bryan Vitner joins the Los Angeles office as Director of Client Services. Mr. Vitner has over 14 years of experience in professional consulting, litigation support and expert services.
