John Oddy, based in New York City, will work primarily with the company’s East Coast clients, and Berit Ashla, based in Berkeley, California, will serve as a philanthropic resource for the company’s West Coast clients. They join a team that includes Sharon Schneider, Philanthropic Director, Central Region, and Page Snow, Chief Philanthropic Officer and President, Foundation Source Philanthropic Advisors, who is based in Fairfield, CT.

- John Oddy, a former Executive Director of the Royal Oak Foundation, brings to the company extensive leadership and management experience in the nonprofit sector. He has served as a Program Officer of the Getty Grant Program, a Vice President of the Judith Rothschild Foundation, and a Program Officer of the J.M. Kaplan Fund. A graduate of Bard College and New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service, Mr. Oddy has also worked for the Regional Plan Association and Hudson River Heritage, and served on committees of The Municipal Art Society of New York and on the board of the American Friends of the Attingham Summer School.
- Berit Ashla joins the company after serving in a variety of positions at the Tides Foundation, including Program Officer, Director of Management Strategies and Services, and Special Projects consultant. She has also served as Manager of the Threshold Foundation. Prior to Tides, Ms. Ashla worked at the United Nations Environment Program’s Paris office and at the Marin Community Foundation. Ms. Ashla serves as a director on several boards including the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, École Bilingue de Berkeley, Abundance Foundation, and Mal Warwick and Associates. A graduate of Amherst College, she has served on the board of the Schott Foundation for Public Education and is a featured speaker at many national grantmaking conferences.
