While U.S. consumer credit quality remains under pressure, U.S. credit card asset backed securities (ABS) performance improved across the board last month, according to the latest Credit Card Index results from Fitch.
Given the improvement in credit card ABS performance for the month of June, credit card ABS ratings are expected to remain stable throughout the remainder of the year and early amortization risk is expected to remain remote.
