New Trade Allocation and Reconciliation Capabilities Streamlines Operations

NEW YORK & SAO PAULO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Imagine Software, a leading provider of real-time portfolio and risk management solutions worldwide, today announced the availability of a new trade allocation and reconciliation module, MrExtractor, developed by Sao Paulo-based MrSpread Consultoria, Imagine’s technical consulting and support partner in the Brazilian market. The new module extends the capabilities of Imagine’s ASP-based Derivatives.com service by automating key processes between brokerage houses and their hedge fund and asset management clients, such as the collection of trade execution information, trade allocation across strategies, and accurate end-of-day reconciliations.

Marcio Bacchi, general director of MrSpread Consultoria, says the new module is already in use with four brokerage houses and an initial hedge fund anchor client, Sao Paulo-based LLa Investimentos. It consists of two components. The first, MrExtractor Service, runs inside brokerage houses and collects relevant trade information from Sinacor^TM, an industry-standard trade execution database system.

Extracted trade data is then relayed via Internet on a minute-by-minute basis to brokerage clients running the module’s second component, MrExtractor Client, which imports and validates the information. Traders can then easily allocate trades across strategies either automatically or manually, and the processed, consolidated trade data from all brokerage houses involved is then loaded into the Derivatives.com database and made available for real-time portfolio and risk management processes. Updated trade views and executions are provided every 60 seconds across all brokerage houses involved in clients’ trading operations.
