CULVER CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sizzler's Salad Bar Sweepstakes kicked off this week on Facebook. One lucky winner will enjoy the restaurant's famous all-you-can-eat salads, soups, hot appetizers and desserts once a week for a year, a $600 value.

"Given there are more than 50 items on the salad bar and we rotate seasonal salads and soups throughout the year, the winner could sample one item a week and still never taste everything," said Michael Branigan, vice president Marketing.

Since eating with others is always more fun, up to 10 of the winner's friends will enjoy a free lunch Salad Bar, if they entered the sweepstakes based on the prizewinner's invitation.

Disproving the often-cited claim that there is "no such thing as a free lunch," Sizzler will hold additional drawings for 50 free lunch Salad Bars, valued at $10 each. Fifty Sizzler t-shirts also will be given away.

Food prizes will be presented in the form of Sizzler gift cards, which will be welcomed at all U.S. Sizzler restaurants.
