The Maloof Money Cup OC was held at the Orange County Fair & Events Center, and featured one of the most exciting and controversial finals ever witnessed. During the third and last section of the Volcom Street Pro, 15-year-old Nyjah Huston pulled off a perfect round, but couldn’t overcome eventual winner Chris Cole’s domination. It was Cole’s third Maloof Money Cup win in a row. Joe and Gavin Maloof have sweetened the pot with a recently announced offer of a $1-million bonus to any skater who wins four contests in a row.
