Nuance and SaskTel Extend Voicemail to Text Relationship

(NASDAQ: NUAN) today announced it has signed a new multi-year agreement to continue delivering Nuance’s Voicemail to Text service to SaskTel’s wireless and wireline subscribers. Recognized as an innovative telecom services provider, SaskTel was one of the first telecom companies in the world to deliver ‘Voice Mail to Text’ service in 2007.

With Nuance’s Voicemail to Text service, SaskTel subscribers have widely embraced the convenience of having their English and French Canadian language voicemails converted to text, and delivered to their email in-box or as a text message to their mobile phone. SaskTel subscribers receive one-click reply functionality via text message, email or return call, and an easy-to-view visual record of voicemails received. Users also benefit from a convenient voice message archive that can be referenced, forwarded or replied to whenever they want.
