NEW YORK--()--Advanced Studies in Medicine (ASiM), an established medical education company, announced today the selection of 2digiti, LLC (2digiti), as the mobile messaging provider for their performance improvement continuing medical education (PI-CME) activity. The activity will enable primary care physicians to improve their knowledge, competence, and performance by improving the identification and management of patients with chronic pain.

Practiced Based Rounds™ will be launched in 10 cities throughout the US, providing primary care physicians the opportunity to participate in a one-of-a-kind educational activity. 2digiti’s mobile messaging platform will be utilized to send SMS-based alerts and clinical reminders to the mobile phones of participating primary care providers.
The initiative will integrate mobile messaging into its educational design where it will enhance and supplement:
- Activity Registration: Enabling participants to register through text messages and receive ongoing activity information and update
- Clinical Reminders: Providing participants with the option to receive educational messages and best practices in identifying and managing patients with chronic pain
- Surveys: Reaching participants through their cell phones and collecting real-time feedback on their clinical and educational gaps.
