CompanionLink Announces Microsoft Outlook Sync with Dell Streak

CompanionLink will synchronize contacts, calendar, tasks and notes between Dell Streak and PC software such as Microsoft^® Outlook^®, Outlook Business Contact Manager, IBM^® Lotus Notes, Novell^® GroupWise, FrontRange^® GoldMine, Palm^® Desktop, and ACT! by Sage. Direct USB sync with Dell Streak works in tandem with an Android app called DejaOffice^™, which provides address book, calendar, tasks and notes apps with features similar to those found in PC contact managers. Data transfers two-ways between PC and DejaOffice using the USB cable that comes with the Dell Streak.

Wireless sync through Google relies on the built-in integration the Dell Streak has with Google Contacts and Google Calendar. CompanionLink synchronizes PC contacts, calendar and tasks to Google, which then synchronizes over-the-air to the Dell Streak. Changes made on the Dell Streak will sync back to Google, and then to the PC using CompanionLink.
