AMD Announces Completion of Exchange Offer of Its 8.125% Senior Notes Due 2017 for Registered Notes

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AMD (NYSE: AMD) today announced that it has completed its offer to exchange (the “Exchange Offer”) up to $500 million aggregate principal amount of its 8.125% Senior Notes due 2017 that have been registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, for any and all of its outstanding 8.125% Senior Notes due 2017 that were issued in a private placement (the “Private Notes”). $499,200,000 of the outstanding $500,000,000 aggregate principal amount of the Private Notes were tendered and received prior to the expiration of the Exchange Offer at 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on July 29, 2010.
