The increase in revenue marks the 38th consecutive quarter of growth for the company that welcomed new clients and key renewals in the quarter including Best Buy, Cisco Consumer Products, Groupon, Kelley Blue Book, Food Lion, Visit London, Ministry of Sound and Benefit Cosmetics.

Key highlights of ExactTarget’s second quarter performance include:
- increasing revenue generated outside of North America by more than 150 percent over the same period in 2009;
- introducing major enhancements to the ExactTarget application, including an expanded suite of automation tools, increased speed for mission-critical sends and an enhanced user interface;
- launching the next generation of CoTweet Enterprise with expanded capabilities to manage multiple Twitter accounts while adding key CoTweet clients including Delta Air Lines and Aurora Fashions, among others; and
- adding more than 80 employees to serve the company’s growing base of customers around the globe, bringing total company employment to nearly 700.
The news of ExactTarget’s record-setting quarter follows Forrester Research naming ExactTarget a “leader” in email marketing and awarding the company a perfect 5 of 5 in the Customer Category of “The Forrester Wave: Email Marketing Service Providers Q4 2009” (December 2009) report.
