VAI Promotes Richard Schreiber to Director of Quality Assurance

RONKONKOMA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--VAI (Vormittag Associates, Inc.) today announced the promotion of Richard Schreiber to director of quality assurance. In this new position, Schreiber will ensure that VAI’s S2K Software meets the highest standards possible for enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions. VAI is a leader in ERP solutions for the distribution, manufacturing, retail and service industries, and is an IBM Premier Business Partner.

In addition to taking on his new role in quality assurance, Schreiber will also continue to serve as training manager, a position he has held for the past five years. As the director of quality assurance, Schreiber will leverage his knowledge of VAI’s solutions and familiarity with customers’ needs, acquired as training manager, to continually enhance the S2K Software Suite, while making sure that every component of the product performs consistently to meet customer expectations.

Prior to joining VAI, Schreiber worked as comptroller for a gold jewelry manufacturer, and as a corporate accounting manager for an audio/video duplicating firm on Long Island. Schreiber holds a degree in accounting from Dowling College in Oakdale, N.Y.
