BEIJING--()--The first China Game Outsourcing Conference (CGOC) is a brand-new conference that has been launched ceremoniously following CGDC and CGBC. As the one and only grand event concerning game outsourcing held during the World Expo Shanghai 2010, CGOC has stirred extensive attention from the games industry. Recently, the organizing committee received exciting news once again that Mr. Cecil Kim, chief artist of God of War trilogy, confirmed to speak at CGOC 2010’s International Session.
The God of War series are action adventure games that were developed by SCEA’s St. Monica studio based on Greek myths. Due to their rich and delightful fighting elements, perfect artistic design as well as the wonderful story-telling, the series have attracted numerous die-hard players that have deep affection towards action games. The God of War trilogy is one of the most well-known AVGs in the games world and it owns tens of millions of loyal players worldwide. Mr. Cecil Kim used to be the concept artist of the trilogy. As the chief artist of God of War III, Mr. Kim created the magnificent scenes and dazzling original paintings of character, which assure players of a stronger visual compact and more impressive game experiences.
Before joining Sony Computer Entertainment, Mr. Kim had been the sound effect artist for many Hollywood blockbusters such as The Truman Show and Men in Black; He was also the concept artist and terrain artist of the game blockbusters named Parasitic Eve and Final Fantasy IX. In addition, he was also among the judging panel of two world top game arts competition named Dominance War. His accomplishments in game concept arts make everyone proud.
The organizing committee of CGOC 2010 sincerely invites elites of the global games industry to attend the event. By far, it has received some 70 applications of speech. At the same time, it has also sent speech invitations to some of the famous elites from several countries.
