L-3 WESCAM Awarded $110 Million Contract from U.S. Air Force

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) announced today that its WESCAM subsidiary has been awarded a $110 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract from the U.S. Air Force. As part of this contract, L-3 will supply WESCAM’s imaging turrets, including the electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) MX^TM-15Di, accompanied with training courses and service programs.

This order is in addition to a $90 million ID/IQ contract that was awarded to WESCAM in December 2008. Combined, these two orders enable the Air Force to purchase a total of $200 million of WESCAM products.
