Horizon Air: 5th Most On-time Airline in the World

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Horizon Air is No. 5 in the world in on-time performance and No. 1 in the United States – according to Forbes.com, using 2009 data compiled by Portland, Ore.-based FlightStats. Horizon was one of only two U.S. airlines to make the worldwide top 10 list.

Horizon operated 142,094 flights in 2009. Of those flights, 85.88 percent were on time (less than 15 minutes late), according to FlightStats.
