NEW YORK--()--HMS today announced that it had been awarded a contract to provide third party liability (TPL) and cost containment services to the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH). The contract has an eighteen month term and the DHMH has the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.

To support the DHMH’s TPL initiatives, HMS will provide data matches, cost avoidance and provider overpayment review services, as well as recovery services for the DHMH.
