$23.5 Million of New Funds Enables OpSec to Pursue Growth and Investment Opportunities

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OpSec Security Group plc, the global leader in anti-counterfeiting technologies and services, announced the successful completion of the investment by Investcorp Technology Partners. The total of $23.5 (£15.7) million of new funds (before expenses) enables OpSec to pursue continued growth in global markets, as well as investment and acquisition opportunities in the industry.

This Investcorp funding raises $10.5 (£7.0) million of new capital (before expenses) and $13.0 million of new debt. This enables OpSec to repay its borrowings with Royal Bank of Scotland and improves OpSec's balance sheet and cash flow position. OpSec will further benefit from the business acumen and experience of Hazem Ben-Gacem, Managing Director and Co-Head of Investcorp, and Anand Radhakrishnan, Principal of Investcorp, who have joined the OpSec board.
