Camden Property Trust Announces Date for Annual Shareholder Meeting

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Camden Property Trust (NYSE:CPT) today announced that its Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held on May 3, 2010 at the Renaissance Hotel, 6 East Greenway Plaza, Houston, Texas, at 11:30 a.m., Central Time.

“Notice Regarding the Availability of Proxy Materials”

Camden intends to provide its proxy materials (Proxy Statement, Annual Report to Shareholders and voting materials) to its shareholders on the Internet, according to the Securities and Exchange Commission’s “Notice Only” option of the “Notice and Access” rule. Shareholders will receive a “Notice Regarding the Availability of Proxy Materials” which will provide the Internet website address where the proxy materials can be viewed and shares can be voted. It will also include instructions for requesting a paper copy of the proxy materials, which will be mailed to shareholders upon request. By implementing the “Notice and Access” rule, Camden is able to reduce the environmental impact of printing and distributing hard copy materials and lower the cost of printing and distribution.

The Company intends to begin mailing notices on or about March 23, 2010 to shareholders of record as of March 12, 2010. Printed proxy materials will be mailed on the same date to those who previously opted to receive them.
