SAN ANTONIO--()--AMCAD announced today that Bexar County Justice of the Peace Courts went live in the Justice of the Peace Courts using AMCAD’s integrated Case Management System (AiCMS) and the AMCAD integrated Capture System (AiCS). The remaining Justice of the Peace Courts will go into production within the next few months.
“AMCAD is excited about the utilization of our AiCMS system by the Bexar County Justice of the Peace Courts”
AMCAD’s AiCMS system automates the entire Justice of the Peace operation, including case management, scheduling, indexing and document management. AiCMS also improves staff productivity and streamlines office workflow by sharing information throughout the Clerk’s operation. The project scope includes electronic citation issuance, and electronic filing of Truancy cases, which will greatly reduce the data entry workload on the Court. The AiCMS system utilizes the latest Microsoft .NET technology, three-tier Service Oriented Architecture, providing the County the ability to protect their investment in technology. The solution will provide remote access for the public to view case and calendar information utilizing the AMCAD Rapid Online Access Method (ROAM™). Additionally, AiCS will provide access to documents electronically, removing the need to transfer paper between locations. This unique integration, provided only by AMCAD, saves thousands of manual work hours per year by integrating e-citation and e-truancy The Pilot Court project was implemented in the Justice of the Peace Courts in less than 9 months. Bexar County, Texas is the 20th largest county by population in the United States.
“AMCAD is excited about the utilization of our AiCMS system by the Bexar County Justice of the Peace Courts,” said Visagar Shyamsundar, AMCAD‘s Chief Operating Officer. “Bexar County is AMCAD‘s first AiCMS installation in the state of Texas. We are very excited and committed to providing a state of the art technology solution that will improve the courts operations and provide better service to the people of Bexar County.”
