Imperial Finance & Trading Names Richard (Rory) O’Connell as Chief Credit Officer

BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Imperial Finance & Trading LLC, (“Imperial”) a leader in premium finance for life insurance, life settlements, and structured settlements is pleased to announce the addition of Rory O’Connell as its new Chief Credit Officer.

Mr. O’Connell brings to Imperial over two decades of experience in the specialty finance arena and will be in charge of providing Imperial with a consistent presence to all current and prospective capital providers.

Before joining Imperial, Mr. O’Connell served as Chief Financial Office for RapidAdvance, LLC, a leading capital provider to independent retailers across the country. Other professional experience includes Chief Operating Officer of Insurance Agency Corporation, a provider of tenant rent guaranties to large apartment REITs; Securitization Consultant to the Industrial Bank of Japan; President and Chief Operating Officer of Singer Asset Finance Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Radian Group Inc; and Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Enhance Financial Services, Inc., a publicly-held NYSE company subsequently acquired by Radian Group, Inc. He received a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University.
