MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--()--BDNA, the leading provider of technology designed to help enterprises discover and eliminate IT inefficiencies, today announced the addition of Amit Golan as vice president of products. In this position, Mr. Golan will oversee BDNA’s product portfolio and will be responsible for carrying out the company’s content-focused strategy, ensuring BDNA’s product development efforts and go-to-market plans are fully aligned.
“IT waste is a serious problem that costs enterprises billions of dollars today”
“Amit is a welcome addition to our seasoned executive team,” said Constantin Delivanis, chief executive officer at BDNA. “He has an incredible track record and countless professional achievements in the industry. He will no doubt be a great asset to our team as we look to expose enterprise IT cost overruns and offer solutions that will diagnose and discover problems that will ultimately help CIOs address overspending.”
Prior to joining BDNA, Mr. Golan spent four years in various product development management roles with Mercury Interactive and HP Software (following its acquisition of Mercury). During that time, he focused on growing Mercury and HP’s business service management portfolios. Prior to joining Mercury, he held a leading role in R&D with enterprise software start-up Sabratec (acquired by Software AG).
“IT waste is a serious problem that costs enterprises billions of dollars today,” Mr. Golan said. “BDNA is squarely addressing this problem, so I’m especially excited and honored to join the executive team. I look forward to putting my energy and drive towards helping BDNA disrupt the market with content-focused offerings that help CIOs eliminate IT waste, optimize their existing technology investments and shift budgets from maintenance to innovation.”
BDNA enables Global 2000 enterprises to implement cost-cutting initiatives, which result in a dramatic reduction of operating budget. The company’s patented solutions uniquely combine agentless, high-speed and detailed inventory creation of all software and hardware assets with the industry’s most comprehensive and complete technology repository, BDNA Catalog. The Catalog, consisting of information regarding products, vendors, versions, support information, power consumption and much more, accelerates the success of critical IT initiatives such as data center consolidation, software license compliance and Green IT through increased certainty, relevance and currency of information. Given the IT market is in constant change due to launches of new IT initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, new product release rollouts, end of life for existing technologies, even bankruptcies, enterprises simply can’t afford to not have their latest product information at their fingertips.
