InfoPro Wins $57.2 Million Customs and Border Protection Contract for Border Enforcement and Management Systems

MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection Border Enforcement Management Systems (BEMS) Program Office has awarded InfoPro Incorporated the BEMS software application and operational maintenance (O&M) support contract. Under the contract, InfoPro will provide system and software design, engineering, development, and O&M applications and systems support services. The contract is valued at $57.2 million through August 2012.

CBP is the unified border agency within DHS charged with the management, control and protection of our Nation’s borders. BEMS’ mission is to support mission systems, border systems and information dissemination across the full system lifecycle. Under this contract, InfoPro will support approximately 50,000 personnel at several CBP internal offices and external federal agencies or bureaus supporting the common goals and missions of DHS such as the Office of Administration; Office of Border Patrol; Office of Field Operations; Office of Human Resource Management; and Office of Air and Marine.
